Born and raised in north west Queensland, where the ‘bush’ matures and humbles you from the womb. It’s hard to believe (and I’m ridiculously grateful) I grew up driving heavy vehicles, mustering cattle on horseback, and pinching every tool in the shed to build whatever my mind dreamt up. Always a firey independent stubborn creative, but very practical, very direct, very resourceful and very resilient.

I move through my days with endless curiosity, fascination and intuition. I fell into this world of picture frames when I felt undervalued in my corporate job.

* Cue my young-life crisis search of purpose and position. Sitting with ‘where does my mind wander and what would I do if money weren’t a neccessity. *

Being a daughter of self employment and entrepreneurs instills a lot of boldness to give anything a go. Pivot. Adapt. Up-skill. Always. Don’t know how to do x, y or z? Learn or learn while trying.

Everything I see is a frame. A moment. A memory. A feeling.
I originally studied photography with the intent to become a travel photojournalist - a desire to pair what I saw, with words that I felt. Love letters to those who couldn’t see or experience it first hand. During those studies, I realised that that was a passion project rather than a career that paid the bills. I learned that I love a good brief, organisation, deeper understanding of all moving parts of business, and having the freedom and trust to collaboratively produce.

In a world demanding niches, I refuse to have my jill-of-all-trades become obsolete in this market. What I’ve found rare in the photography world is having the business understanding. I work with the full picture to create what you need and will actually use, not just for the sake of creating. I love both the left and right side of the brain. I’m like a marketing extension arm.

A decade in, I still get excited to create and capture.

I’m currently available for commercial and lifestyle photography, videography (I’d rather outsource the video edits as this isn’t my primary), in-house content creation workshops, international and interstate contracts.

* Loves any excuse to travel *

*** Also loves the sun, the ocean, homegrown anything and a bloody good negroni.
